Main Contractor Works
In our partnerships with primary contractors on large projects, we our own project and onsite managers to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, which performing risk assessments and adhering to site safety protocols and PPE mandates. We maintain continuous communication with the main contractor, providing updates on our progress while aiming to deliver our work with the utmost quality, efficiency, and safety.
Health and Safety
We take our health and safety very seriously. All our onsite managers are Lv 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace and first aid at work trained and certified.

We also work with Safe Contractor so are approved for all site work.

We complete all RAMS and COSHH in advance of any project.
We perform internal random onsite inspections making sure all of our team members comply with your and our client and own H&S policy.
Report Assessment Writing
We provide written reports and assessments on damaged floors to assist with planning permission for grade-listed buildings. Notable projects include our report on the Terrazzo floor at the renowned Serpentine Bar and Kitchen, located by the river in Hyde Park, London, which was prepared for The Royal
Parks to obtain planning consent. Additionally, we have produced a visual inspection report for the Terrazzo restoration of the Turkish Spa rooms within the Mount Baths in Northampton.
Insurance Works
We collaborate with loss adjusters, structural surveyors, and main contractors to guarantee that all insurance-related restoration projects stay within budget and timelines. We conduct regular meetings, site inspections, and prioritize health and safety. Additionally, we offer comprehensive protection and stone care advice, as well as service maintenance contracts post-completion.
Aftercare
Our Team of stonemasons can advise currently cleaning contractors on the best methods and materials to safeguard floors from dirt and debris while other tradesmen complete their work. It’s essential to use a breathable protective solution to allow moisture in the stone to evaporate safely.
Using the wrong type of protection may lead to sweating, staining, or transferring cordex ridge lines onto the stone surface. Aftercare Service We supply all clients with Operation & Maintenance Manuals to help maintain the stone's appearance over time. We are happy to conduct a walk-through on proper care techniques for the future. Additionally, we offer thorough clean-down services using our large floor cleaning machines before the final cleaning teams arrive. MGS also provides customized maintenance contracts tailored to each project.
